Joseph Irungu alias Jowie who is charged alongside his former fiancée Jacque Maribe on Friday begged the court to give him his verdict in Monica Kimani Murder case before Christmas.
This is after the court said the judgement was not ready to be delivered today but asked parties to choose another date.
Through his lawyer Professor Nandwa, Jowie said his family and him were going through emotional stress not knowing his fate so the judgement should be given before Christmas so that they can celebrate Christmas knowing his fate.
Justice Grace Nzioka said if it was possible she would deliver before Christmas but circumstances beyond her control meant the earliest date would be in January.
While appearing in virtual court, Nandwa said he understood but they would have been happy if the judgement had come early.
The matter was adjourned to allow the judge time to go through the tones of exhibits she received on Thursday evening bring the eve of the date for judgement.
The judgement will be delivered on January 26.
