TikToker Arrested for Allegedly Inciting Violence Against Police Officers

NAIROBI, Kenya – A TikTok content creator identified as Godfrey Mwasiaga Kakan Maiyo has been arrested over a viral video in which he is accused of inciting violence against police officers and their families.

Detectives traced Maiyo to Kimathi House in Nairobi’s CBD, where he was allegedly running a covert office under the guise of a logistics business named LetaPeleka Logistics.

The suspect is currently in police custody as investigations continue. Authorities have confirmed he will be arraigned once processing is complete. The arrest comes amid heightened scrutiny of online content perceived to threaten public order and national security.
