Hours after city Lawyer Danstan Omari accuses government of daylight robbery in the increased charges on services the state has now revoked the gazette notice.
In a new gazette notice dated November 14, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has said the earlier gazette notice has been revoked to pave way for public participation.
Earlier in the day, Omari who has filed a case at the court challenging the new charges had accused the government of robbery without violence.
Omari said the hustlers would not afford to pay for all of those services including marriage which is a fundamental right of passage for Kenyans.
Omari claimed the government’s directive was them meddling in love matters.
