Mathe Wa Ngara, whose real name is Nancy Indoveria, was arraigned in court on Monday alongside two others to answer charges of drug trafficking.
This is the second case she is facing, coming just months after being granted bail by the High Court in a similar drug trafficking case.
Mathe was charged alongside David Ochieng and Christopher Ochieng, and they all denied two counts of trafficking narcotics and conspiracy to traffic narcotics.
It is alleged that on various dates between August 8 and 9 at Georgina Apartments in the Mastore area of Juja, they were jointly found trafficking 189,300 grams of cannabis valued at Sh 5,679,000.
The prosecution opposed bail, informing the court that she is a repeat offender, having been previously convicted at the Kahawa Law Courts for the offense of drug trafficking.
The court was also told that the accused has an active criminal case before the JKIA Law Courts and has continued to traffic cannabis while out on bond.
The court directed that a probation report be filed before a bail ruling is made.
The case will be mentioned on August 19 for further directions; in the meantime, they will be remanded in prison.
