Former Senior Cop and His Two Sons Granted Bail in Farmhands’s Murder Case.

A retired former Commissioner of Police Michael Mbugua and his two sons got relief on Wednesday after a Kibera court granted them cash bail of Sh.100,000 each in a case where they are charged with the murder of their farmhand accused of stealing a wire mesh worth Sh.1,000.

The suspects through Lawyer Danstan Omari had applied for a review of their bail terms which the court approved.

They had earlier on been denied bail by court due to compelling reasons but the court has reviewed the decision and released them from remand.

The hearing has been scheduled for July 23 this year and will take place at the scene of the alleged crime where the worker allegedly died.

Court news report further that the three, Michael Mbugua, Christopher Njau Mbugua and Charles Kinyanjui Mbugua were charged with killing George Njui on 23rd of December Last year at Riruta in Dagoretti, Nairobi County.
