The Anti-Corruption Court in Milimani has directed that the passport of Dan Achola Okoth, son of former Migori Governor Okoth Obado, be released to facilitate a business trip abroad.
However, the court ordered that before the travel, the defence counsel must furnish proof of the trip’s itinerary as well as documentation confirming Achola’s board membership in the company he represents.
The case will be mentioned on December 8 to confirm compliance with the court’s directives and to issue further directions.
Achola is facing corruption-related charges involving KSh 505 million before the Anti-Corruption Court in Milimani.
